Anil Kapoor on why he chose to be a part of the Abhinav Bindra biopic

For the first time Anil Kapoor is coming together on screen with two of his children. Currently shooting for ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and his next will be in the Abhinav Bindra biopic with Harshvardhan Kapoor playing his reel father.

Reported on TOI, the ‘Race 3’ (2018) actor who has recently completed 35 years in the industry shares his reasons for choosing a biopic. “Abhinav Bindra is the only Olympic gold medalist in 100 years of Indian sporting history. He won the gold for shooting which is not as popular a sport as cricket. I met him and for me his story was inspiring.”

Kapoor has also got two more films in the pipeline, ‘Total Dhamaal’ where he will be teaming up with Madhuri Dixit after almost 18 years! Then there is ‘Fanney Khan’, where Kapoor will be seen sharing the screen alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (also after 18 years) and Rajkummar Rao.
