Anil-Harshvardhan to do joint prep for Abhinav Bindra biopic

This year, Anil Kapoor will team up with his daughter Sonam Kapoor for the first time in Shelly Chopra’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.’ Then the following year, the veteran will also share screen space with son Harshvardhan Kapoor in the Abhinav Bindra biopic. While Harshvardhan plays the ace Indian shooter, Anil will be seen as his on-screen father.

Harshvardhan is already famous for putting in hours to prepare himself for a role, reports DNA India. He has been training hard to get in shape for the biopic and now, reports say he will be doing joint prep with his famous father. A source close to him said, “Harsh will leave for Chandigarh (Bindra’s hometown) along with his father, as soon as his next film Bhavesh Joshi releases in May, to begin work on the biopic.”

The Kapoors want to familiarise themselves with their respective characters and understand the social conditions of the film. “They have freed their calendar from July to October to do extensive research for the movie. Both of them will meet Bindra and his family to understand their nuances and incorporate that in their performances,” adds the source.

The biopic is expected to go on floors in January next year.
