Anil-Aishwarya starrer ‘Fanney Khan’ to roll this week

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wowed the audiences in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ last year but she’s all set to be seen in yet another intriguing avatar in the forthcoming ‘Fanney Khan’, which kicks off this week, and also stars Anil Kapoor. The actress has apparently appointed a yoga instructor to ensure she looks her best, BizAsiaLive.com can reveal.

“The team starts building the set in Mumbai next month and Anil will kick off shooting in the first week of August. Aishwarya joins him by the month-end and the film will wrap up in a start-to-finish schedule by October. Ash was blown away by her glamorous and “highly stylised” character. We took the script to her two months ago and she immediately gave her nod,” confirmed Prerna Arora of KriArj Entertainment who are co-producing the film.

The producer promised something different from Rai Bachchan, “Her character is the complete opposite of her serious turns in Jazbaa and Sarbjit. In our film she is the spunky, enchanting female protagonist”.

‘Fanney Khan’, being helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is apparently a Hindi adaptation of Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous’ (2000). It’s being directed by debutante Atul Manjrekar.
