Anees Bazmee: “Kartik & Kiara look terrific together”

Director Anees Bazmee is very happy with the progress of his next awaited ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, the film is ready to be shot in Rajasthan. The director says that the film has no resemblance to the first installment that starred Akshay Kumar, who will most likely not be making a cameo as rumored.

Talking about the sequel Bazmee revealed, “We’ve shot a small portion in Mumbai and will now proceed to Jaipur as most of the film will be shot in Rajasthan. Quite a change from my last film, Paagalpanti, which was shot in London. Kartik and Kiara look terrific together — a fresh pair and that too a good looking one. This is a completely different story. Besides the title, we have taken two songs from the original — the title song and the Bengali song. The rest of the film is completely original. Akshay is a very big and very busy star. To justify his presence in a cameo is not possible. I don’t think we will be able to accommodate him. But I am sure he wishes us all the best,” as according to Asian Age. 

Bazmee’s last ‘Pagalpanti’ (2019) starred John Abraham.
