Anas Rashid of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ fame set to marry

Fans of popular soap drama ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ will be happy to know their favourite Sooraj Rathi will be tying the knot. Actor Anas Rashid who essayed the well loved role has confirmed he is getting to know someone with the aim of marriage.

Rashid had earlier refuted rumours of marriage saying he would get married once the show went off air and it looks like he’s kept his word.  According to SpotboyE.com, the lucky girl, Heena, hails from Punjab and was found by the soap star’s family as a suitable match for the handsome actor.

Rashid confirmed the news himself stating “Yes, it’s true. I was clear that I wanted to tie the knot with a girl of my family’s choice and it’s finally happening with everyone’s blessings”.  Whilst there is a considerable age gap between the two of 14 years, he went on to add they are getting to know one another.  Reports are that the couple will get married by the end of this year.
