Ananya Panday on perfecting tapori lingo for ‘Khaali Peeli’

Ananya Panday will be seen sharing the screen with Ishaan Khatter in the forthcoming ‘Khaali Peeli’. The actress has spoken about trying to get the tapori accent and lingo right for the role.

Talking to TOI, Panday said, “I play a girl from Mumbai in the film and so, I will be seen speaking in the Bambaiya language. It’s similar to what Alia (Bhatt) did in Gully Boy”.

She went on to add, “I don’t know if I can be as good as Alia, but I will definitely try to match up to her”.

Panday will be seen next in ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
