Ananya Panday & Ishaan Khatter’s ‘Kaali Peeli’ to go on floors in September

After making her debut in ‘Student Of The Year 2’ (2019), Ananya Panday is on a roll as she has signed her third film.

Reported on Pinkvilla, Panday who has been busy shooting her second film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ with Kartik Aryan, will start shooting for ‘Kaali Peeli’, which will be with Ishaan Khatter and produced by Ali Abbas Zafar. A source said, “Ananya has been shooting non stop since the release of her first film Student Of The Year 2. She was in Lucknow to finish her portions for Pati Patni Aur Woh. They have been constantly shooting nights in the city of Nawabs. Ananya finishes her shoot in the first week of September and will be back to the bay around 8th of next month.”

The source added that both Panday and Khatter will commence shooting from mid-September, “The first schedule of Kaali Peeli is expected to roll out around mid-September. They are shooting in Mumbai and they start on September 15. It’s a unique love story that will be produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and directed by one of his associates.”

Though this is Khatter’s second film after ‘Dhadak’ (2018), he will be making his digital debut in Mira Nair’s web series ‘A Suitable Boy’, based on the classic Vikram Seth novel.

As for Panday ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, the film will be releasing in December this year.
