Amrita Rao to make television serial debut?

Amrita Rao might soon turn to small screen like her younger sister Preetika Rao. Reportedly, Rao will be seen in a show on Star Plus.

According to Times of India, “Amrita has been roped in to play the protagonist’s role in Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s forthcoming venture.”

If sources are to be believed then Rao’s maiden television serial venture will be a romantic drama having some of the tadka of regular daily soaps.

Rao has been part of some amazing Bollywood films like ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004), ‘Masti’ (2004), and ‘Vivah’ (2006).

Rao’s younger sister Preetika is already ruling everyone’s heart with her daily show ‘Beintehaa’. The show is a Muslim-based drama, which airs on Colors.
