Amol Palekar’s health improving after being admitted to hospital

Seasoned superstar Amol Palekar is currently undergoing treatment at Pune’s Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital. According to reports, the star has been unwell for some time. However, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel as per his wife’s latest update.

Sandhya Gokhale, Palekar’s wife, stated that his condition has indeed improved. She told the media that there is no need to be concerned about her husband’s health and said he is improving and is in a better state than previously, reports Bollywood Hungama.

Gokhale said he had a previous visit to the hospital ten years ago due to excessive smoking, but his condition has stabilised following that visit.

Palekar is best known for his comedies such as ‘Golmaal’ (2006) and ‘Naram Garam’ (1981).
