Amitabh Bachchan’s special appearance in ‘Padman’

R Balki has cast Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo role in his Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Padman’. For Balki, Bachchan seems to be a lucky charm for the director, so it’s only natural for him to be in this film also.

Reported in Bollywood Life, Bachchan hasn’t necessarily played the protagonist or lead supporting actor in Balki’s film, but his characters have always been pivotal to the stories. Rumours were later confirmed by Bachchan himself in a tweet confirming he will be in ‘Padman’. “I work tomorrow… A shoot for R. Balki for the film he does with Akshay Kumar. A special appearance for a few minutes.” Tweeted the ‘Pink’ (2016) actor.

‘Padman’ is being produced by Twinkle Khanna and will also star Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The film is slated to release later this year.
