Amitabh Bachchan to play himself in next titled ‘Ghumketu’

Earlier this year was when Amitabh Bachchan played himself on the big screen; the film was celebrating 100 years of Bollywood, ‘Bombay Talkies’. He is set to do the same again but this time it will be for Pushpendra Misra’s directorial debut.

The film is titled ‘Ghumketu’ and will see Bachchan lend a helping hand to a struggling filmmaker played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. A source spoke to Mumbai Mirror, “It is a satirical take on a writer’s struggle to make a place for himself in the industry. Comedy is a genre Nawaz hasn’t attempted before. Both Bachchan and Kashyap have extended cameos in the film. Anurag has already filmed his part, but Bachchan is yet to shoot his portion.”

Anurag Kashyap will also be seen playing himself in the movie.
