Amitabh Bachchan to get treatment in Los Angeles

2012 has been filled somewhat with reports about Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s ill-health. BizAsia can reveal that he will soon be travelling to Los Angeles for further treatment despite his abdominal surgery earlier in the year.

Bachchan, 69, is thought to have requested tests to be carried out in LA, as reported by India Today. Those close to the actor have said that although the surgery in February went well, his abdominal pain remains. It is for this reason that he has decided that a further investigation into his condition is needed.

Bachchan has been known to post of his discomfort on his blog and he has refrained from signing any projects until September.
