Amitabh Bachchan to croon national anthem at Eden Gardens

Amitabh Bachchan, who has lend his powerful voice in a number of songs, will now be seen singing the Indian national anthem just ahead of the IndvsPak clash in World T20 match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 19th March.

‘Piku’ actor took to micro-blogging site Twitter and confirmed his presence for the match by re-tweeting a post on Tuesday.

“@SrBachchan to sing national anthem in India-Pakistan World T20 clash,” Bachchan retweeted.

However, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) sources confirmed that Pakistani singer Shafaqat Amanat Ali will cheer his team by singing Pakistani national anthem.
