Amitabh Bachchan snubs ZEE Cine Awards

The ZEE Cine Awards has got its first snub from the biggest star of the industry Big B himself. Amitabh Bachchan has decided to skip the popular award show this year held at London’s Excel Arena on Saturday 26 March 2005, on the pretext of shooting commitments.

However a lot is being read between the lines, reports say that this may be because of the scuffle that happened last year between the Organisers of the Show and Amar Singh over the Bachchan accommodation in the back rows of seating arena.

Some reports say that inspite of papa dearest not attending the ceremony Jr. AB will be attending it, as he is a prominent nominee at the Awards. Some have a different story and say that both the Bachchans would be missing from the show.

Who arrives on the night only time will tell, after all, this is Bollywood!

The ZEE Cine Awards take place on Saturday night at the Excel Docklands Arena in London and the show will be screened on ZEE TV on Sunday at 19:30.
