Amitabh Bachchan set to star in Sooraj Barjatya’s next?

Sooraj Barjatya is expected to have a couple of busy years ahead with rumours of the popular filmmaker working with Amitabh Bachchan in one of his upcoming films.

Barjatya, who is also working on a new film with Salman Khan in 2022, will roll out an out-and-out family drama with Bachchan in 2021.

A source told Mid-Day, “The film will roll in the first quarter of 2021, and mark the first collaboration of Bachchan and Barjatya, as actor and director. Bachchan had loved the script when it was narrated to him earlier this year. He plays the family patriarch.”

Barjatya is also expected to launch his son Avnish as a director in a separate project.
