Amitabh Bachchan to return as host of ‘KBC’ on Sony TV

Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan will return as host of the ninth series of popular gameshow ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.

According to Mid-Day, Bachchan will get into the studio in August and will can all 30 episodes of the new season in a tight schedule. Apparently, he has allotted just ten days in August and seven days in September for the shoot of the show.

Over the past few days, rumours have been rife of Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan taking over the helm as the host of the show. However this has now been denied.
