Amitabh Bachchan reacts to Rishi Sunak being appointed UK Prime Minister
Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan has reacted to the news of Rishi Sunak becoming the first Indian-origin Prime Minister of the UK.
Taking to social media, Bachchan captioned a picture of himself, “Jai Bharat .. now the UK finally has a new viceroy as its Prime Minister from the Mother Country.”
In the picture, Bachchan is seen in a grey hoodie and matching trackers.
Sunak’s appointment was confirmed on Monday after beating rival Penny Mordaunt in Conservative party nominations.
