Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Black’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji has premiered on Netflix, 19 years after it was released at cinemas.
The 2005 film, is a cathartic tale of a young woman who can’t see, hear, or speak, and the teacher who brings a ray of light into her dark world.
The production house shared the news on social media, “It’s been 19 years since Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black released, and today we’re celebrating its first ever digital release on Netflix! Debraj and Michelle’s journey has been an inspiration to all of us, and we hope it instills you with strength and compassion ❤️”
