Amitabh Bachchan on testing negative for coronavirus: “This news is a lie”

Amitabh Bachchan has refuted reports that he has tested negative in his ongoing battle with the deadly coronavirus.

The legendary actor, who was admitted into Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital on 11th July 2020, has been recuperating with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan.

The 77-year old responded to a report by various news broadcasters that quoted “hospital sources” that he had tested negative for Covid19. He said, the story is “incorrect, irresponsible, fake and an incorrigible lie.”
