Amitabh Bachchan not keen on ‘Shakti’ remake

After remakes of films like ‘Don’, ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Zanjeer’, Amitabh Bachchan said that he does not want his film ‘Shakti’ ever to be remade.

In a report by IANS, Bachchan said, ���It was a very special film. I don’t think there should be any remake of the movie. The movie gave me a chance to work with a star like Dilip (Kumar) ji. In fact it is very difficult to say who will be able to portray those characters with conviction on the big screen.”

‘Shakti’ was released in 1982 and brought together Bachchan and Dilip Kumar. It was based around a policeman and his son and the former’s decision to do the right thing at any cost.
