After 15 years, Sridevi will be seen back on the big screen this October, in Gauri Shinde’s ‘English Vinglish’. Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan admitted that hewas left in tears after catching a viewing of the film.
Having beenreported to be doing a special appearance in the film,Bachchan stated on his blog, “A viewing of’English Vinglish’directed by Gauri Shinde, wife of R Balki tonight, leaves me with collective lumps in the throat and a surge of flushed eyes near the tear ducts.”
Bachchan, who was last seen sharing the screen with the actress in the 1993 film ‘Khuda Gawah’,went onto express, “In our simplicity lies the true story of a lifetime. Massive explosions and devastating action sequences make you wonder in high adrenalin awe. But equally, the ordinariness of everyday life, strikes many strings that work together in sympathetic chords.”
