Amitabh Bachchan, one of the mightiest superstar the Hindi film industry has ever produced, has expressed a strong desire to re-associate with son Abhishek Bachchan but only if a good script comes his way.

Bachchan clarified that Abhishek isn’t a big part of his upcoming flick ‘Shamitabh’ but he has a passing shot in the movie.”When we were shooting at the airport, Abhi landed there at that point and the director (R. Balki) immediately captured the moment in the frame,” the actor told Absolute India.

Earlier, Bachchan has many a time shared screen with Abhishek but their 2009 release ‘Paa’, which was also directed by R Balki, had won a National Award.”I hope that any filmmaker in the industry comes to me with a script for me and Abhishek. But it has to be a suitable script. And if it happens, I will surely do the movie,” said Bachchan.

He also expressed joy over his daughter-in-law’s decision to return to the silver screen with Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’.”I am happy that she is returning to the big screen and nobody ever asked her to stop working,” concluded Bachchan.

‘Shamitabh’ is set for release on 6th February and also stars Dhanush and Akshara Haasan.
