Amitabh Bachchan to join Abhishek & Aishwarya in ‘Gulab Jamun’?

A week after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirmed she will be teaming up with husband Abhishek Bachchan for ‘Gulab Jamun,’ producer Anurag Kashyap looks to have pulled off another casting coup. Rumours are in circulation that Amitabh Bachchan is the latest to join the cast of the Sarvesh Mewara-directed venture.
 
‘Gulab Jamun’ is a slice-of-life film that tells the story of a three-generation family, with Amitabh representing the first generation, reports Mid Day. A source reveals, “After initiating talks with Abhishek and Ash, the makers had given a narration to Big B last year, following which he had suggested a few tweaks to the script.
 
It was after the wrap-up of ‘Manmarziyan’ (2018) last month that conversation around this film started again. Kashyap reached out to Amitabh with the reworked script. It is yet unknown whether he will be playing a father to Abhishek or Aishwarya.” The trio was last seen in ‘Sarkar Raj’ (2008) together.
