Amitabh Bachchan humbled to be at London’s Gandhi statue unveiling
Amitabh Bachchan was amongst dignitaries in London earlier today at the unveiling of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Parliament Square. The actor has said he is humbled by the respect given during the event.
Bachchan did a reading in front of the audience which included British Prime Minister David Cameron, Secretary of State for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport Sajid Javid as well as Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
The pose of Gandhi was inspired by his visit to 10 Downing Street during his time.
