Amitabh Bachchan has no plans of retreating from the limelight

The legend that is Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his 71st birthday today. However, it is evident that he is still working as hard and with as much passion as he did in his more youthful days. Bachchan has gone on record to say he has no plans of giving up.

On his blog, the 71-year-old said, ���”The wish is that something challenging comes up everyday. I will continue working till there is strength in my body�۝.

He also spoke about the dawning of another birthday, ���A strange calmness descends on the eve of the clock that strikes 12 midnight… the family, the few that are in town, bring in the greetings, the ‘little one’ ably tutored sings a ‘happy birthday’ to herself first and then after suitable prompting, to me… it’s these little moments that make up a birthday … the bigger moments follow�۝.

Bachchan also spoke of his joy at his granddaughter Aaradhya singing him ��happy birthday�۪.
