Amitabh Bachchan gets go ahead for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ action scene

After Amitabh Bachchan’s health scare made many people wonder whether the actor would be able to resume the shoot for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, news has now come that the actor was given the go ahead for a shoot of action scenes for the film.

Bollywood Life reports that doctors were flown from Mumbai to the shoot in Jodhpur. A source said, “A team of doctors was flown down from Mumbai to Jodhpur for a routine check. They examined Mr Bachchan and after doing a few tests, they have cleared him to shoot an action sequence tonight. The doctors have been flown back to the city in a charter plane”.

Bachchan’s wife Jaya also told media, “Amitji is fine. He has pain in the back and neck… The costumes are very heavy, so there’s some pain. Otherwise he is fine”.
