Ameesha Patel to play a prostitute

Ameesha Patel has had her fair share of hits and flops at the box office��but audiences are yet to see her branching out into more diverse roles. However, news has it that the actress is preparing for her next venture, ��Paradise Street�۪, where she��she will be��playing a prostitute.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Patel�۪s character is a smoker of cigars and she has been preparing for this part of the role. ���I have been trying to light a cigarette for two months now, but failing. In the film, my character smokes a cigar. I thought let me start with a cigarette first,�۝ the actress is reported to have said. Patel also goes on to explain how her character in the film is very well sought after within her profession because she�ʉ��is very confident and unapologetic about who she is.�۝

��Pardise Street�۪ directed by David Dhawan is a film based in the 1960s. The film is due to release sometime in 2013 and will also mark Patel�۪s debut��production with her own production house.
