Ameesha Patel all for ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ sequel

With nearly every filmmaker jumping on the sequel band wagon, it seems actress Ameesha Patel is all for it as well. Having made her debut in Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kaha Na Pyaar Hai’ opposite Hrithik Roshan, the actress has now stated that she supports the idea of the film having a follow up.

“I think, the day Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ part 2 is announced, the entire country will go mad with excitement. Everyone is waiting for me and Hrithik to come back to screen together. And it is upto Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan (director of the film) to make it happen,”��Zee News reported Patel stating.

Though the actress hasn’t been seen on screen for a while, she hasn’t stepped away from the lime light just yet. Patel will soon be venturing into producing, with a film titled ‘Desi Magic’ which she will also be acting in. Talking about the film and getting in front of the camera, she went onto say, ��”It is my first film as producer. People will see me pretty soon on the silver screen and in a double role.”

“I want to come back to the silver screen and what better than with my own production. About 80 percent of the shooting is compete and the movie will release shortly in two months,” she added.

To be directed by Mehul Atha, ‘Desi Magic’ will also star Zayed Khan and Sahil Shroff.
