Amazon to relaunch Prime Video in India

Popular digital platform, Amazon is reportedly planning to relaunch, Prime Video in India.

The digital platform is said to be working on plans to ramp up its service to combat competition from rivals. Prime Video is already available in India but is expected to increase its content for the India market. As well as content, the new business head quarters of Prime Video is said to be based in Mumbai, with a recruitment drive in process.

Currently, Hotstar dominates the digital space in India with a share of 20 per cent, followed by Jio with 23 per cent and Netflix with around 5 per cent, according to Advanced Television.
