Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Paatal Lok’ Season 2 already in the making?

As Anushka Sharma gears up for the release of her new web series ‘Pataal Lok’ on Amazon Prime Video, there has been news that a second season is in the works already.

During an interaction with Pinkvilla, lead actor Jaideep Ahlawat revealed that creator Sudip Sharma might be in the process of scripting it. “Of course, there’s a possibility. As far as I know, the hint that I have gotten is that Sudip sir is already working on it [scripting season 2]. I hope it happens and I would love to take the story forward,” he was reported expressing.

He went on to add, “It might be a different case or the continuation of the same case as season 1, I don’t know. But, I would love to play Hathiram again. His involvement has just started. Hathiram has just entered the game. We feel that he will finally start now. Now, things are in his favour.”

With the trailer already gripping its audiences attention, the series promises to be a thought provoking, mystery-crime drama which will have everyone hooked from the get-go.
