Amazon Prime Video to stream four Premier League games free-to-air

Digital streaming giant, Amazon Prime Video will stream four Premier League games free-to-air, in UK.

The season, which is expected to restart on 17th June, will give non-Amazon Prime Video viewers free access to four games it has rights for.

Alex Green, managing director of Prime Video Sport Europe, said, “Like the rest of the country, we are excited to see the Premier League return to action.

“We will be making all four of Amazon Prime Video’s additional fixtures in the 2019-20 season available free of charge; fans will not need a Prime membership to view the games on Prime Video.”

In May, the BBC announced it will air four Premier League matches free-to-air, the first time since 1988. Meanwhile, Sky Sports will air 25 matches for free.
