Amazon Prime Video announces premiere of Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Thappad’

Amazon Prime Video has announced the digital premiere of the recent high-impact social drama title – ‘Thappad’. Directed and Produced by Anubhav Sinha, the film has been critically appreciated for breaking norms and stereotypes with its gripping storyline and the performances of the stellar cast. Starting 1st May, Prime members in more that 200 countries and territories can watch this Taapsee Pannu starrer shortly after its theatrical release.

“I was very sure I wanted to be a part of this movie,” shares Taapsee Pannu, “it is an honour to have worked with Anubhav sir on this project where he approached a sensitive topic in the most impactful way possible. I have been a rebel by nature since childhood, and, that reflects in my choice of films. The last 6 months have been very interesting for me.
