Amazon Prime Video renowned for paving the way for high-end digital content, is reportedly planning to add live streams of various TV channels for its subscribers.
According to reports, a job advert has been posted, looking for applicants to “redefine how customers watch 24/7 linear broadcast TV content” by “designing the end-to-end customer experience for how customers discover and watch Linear TV content.”
Another vacancy advert said it was looking for someone that can help in “building next gen linear catalog systems to provide best-in-class Linear TV experience to Prime Video customers.”
Adding fuel to speculation was the word “linear” used excessively in the job ads.
