Alpha ETC Punjabi rebranded to ZEE Punjabi

ZEE Network’s Punjabi infotainment channel Alpha ETC Punjabi has been morphed into ZEE Punjabi to unify the network’s look.

The popular channel, which launched back in 2003, has carried the ‘Alpha’ brand since its debut in the UK/Europe market.

The ever dependable exclusive coverage of Gurbaani from the Golden Temple, Amritsar, will remain on the UK feed despite ZEE India losing the rights to rival PTC Network (PTC News and PTC Punjabi). Other shows on the channel۪s line-up are expected to remain the same.

ZEE Punjabi UK has revamped its on-air look to coincide with the name change. A logo to match its corporate ‘Z’ was unveiled yesterday and a set of new graphics are to be unveiled over the coming days as ‘Alpha’ is phased out.

ZEE Punjabi joins ZEE TV, ZEE Muzic, ZEE Cinema, ZEE Gujarati and ZEE Radio on the Sky platform.
