Alpha ETC Punjabi airs live Vaisakhi celebrations

ZEE Network’s popular Punjabi channel Alpha ETC Punjabi is celebrating the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi in an innovative way.

In a tie-up with Vibe TV, Alpha ETC Punjabi will exclusively be airing a daily one-hour special of coverage live from Gurdwaras in Pakistan.

The specials began on Sunday 8th April and will run through to this Vaisakhi weekend (Sunday 15th April). Live transmission airs between 12:00 and 13:00.

The Alpha ETC Punjabi Vaisakhi special will take viewers through a journey of religious celebrations being held in famous Gurdwaras located in Pakistan, such as Gurudwara Janmasthan Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Farooqabad. The main religious functions from the 13th ��� 15th April will be shown from the famous Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hasan Abdal.

The channel is also broadcasting its regular Shabad Kirtan from the Golden Temple, Amritsar in India at 04:00 and 16:00. ZEE Network is the only television broadcaster in the world to have access to the Golden Temple.
