Alok Nath expelled by CINTAA post sexual harassment accusations

Ever since veteran actor Alok Nath was accused of rape and sexual assault by actresses and a director, there has been a war of words somewhat. Now, it’s emerged that CINTAA have expelled him.

The Association confirmed this action on micro-blogging site Twitter, “In view of the various allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Mr. Alok Nath, after due diligence and consideration, the Exec. Committee of #cintaa has decided to expel him from the Association. @sushant_says @renukashahane @FIA_actors @sagaftra @RichaChadha.”

Director and TV writer Vinta Nanda was the first to accuse the actor of rape but following on from that a number of different women also came forward about his behaviour.
