Alok Agrawal quits ZEE News; joins Reliance
Alok Agrawal has quit as CEO of ZEE Media Corporation (ZEE News), to join Reliance Industries.
Agrawal announced his resignation internally at the weekend and today took to Twitter to announce the news publicly.
Agrawal said ���Delighted to share my move to Team #RIL. Thank you Team @ZeeNews.� Recently, Sahara Samay group editor BV Rao also quit and joined RIL.”
It is not known what Agrawal’s new designation at Reliance will be. Furthermore, sources say that the ZEE Media CEO position has been dissolved, with all senior managers reporting directly to Bhaskar Das, ZEE News group CEO.
