Alia & Shraddha open up about Parineeti’s break

Parineeti Chopra’s career had been doing rather well as she climbed up the ladder of success. However, with the actress not having been seen in a film for the past two years, there was speculation as to why she hasn’t taken on any new work for a while. However, despite rumours, her fellow actresses have stood up for her and stated that she was well within her reason to take a break as long as she needed.

As Pinkvilla reported, actress Alia Bhatt was asked about what she though of Chopra’s absence from the big screen, where she expressed, “When you are at a particular stage in your career, it might prove detrimental to your growth but then again, if you are preparing yourself for something and have to take a break for a specific reason, then why not? I guess Parineeti too took a break for a reason and not ainvayi. She is doing so many great films now.”

Furthermore, Shraddha Kapoor was also quizzed on the issue, who also stated, “So if I am in that situation, I would wait for something substantial and rather spend my time in doing something else that I love doing ��� maybe travel or do a course. But that�۪s only if such a situation arises. If I�۪m not, I will be happy to keep doing as many films as I can. As for Pari, she wanted to take it, maybe that�۪s why she took it.”

Despite the rumours, and to the delight of Chopra’s fans, she will soon be coming back on screen for her upcoming venture ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’. Set to release in 2017, Chopra will be seen sharing the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana.
