Alia Bhatt’s sister co-writing ‘Dhadkan 2’ script

While Alia Bhatt has gone on to become one of the most successful actresses of recent times, her elder sister Shaheen Bhatt is more inclined towards working behind the camera. ��Shaheen Bhatt will now be co-writing the script of ‘Dhadkan 2’ with Vikram Bhatt, who is directing the project.

Confirming the news to Mid Day, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt said,��”When I was looking for a fresh talent and a fresh perspective to young romance I asked her to write ‘Dhadkan 2’. When she started writing the scenes I knew I was right. She is immensely talented and I am certain will direct a film too someday.”

The film is being produced by Ratan Jain, who also produced the first ‘Dhadkan’ (2000) which starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shetty. ��Details of the sequel’s cast have not yet been revealed.
