Alia Bhatt’s next ‘Alpha’ confirmed for release in July 2026
Yash Raj Films has delayed the release of the upcoming action thriller ‘Alpha’, starring Alia Bhatt, with the film now set to arrive in cinemas on 10th July 2026.
The movie, which also features Sharvari Wagh, had previously been scheduled for release earlier in 2026 before the studio opted to push it back to a summer date.
Announcing the new schedule on Instagram, the studio shared a simple caption confirming the update: “#ALPHA 10.07.2026.”

‘Alpha’ forms part of the expanding YRF Spy Universe and marks the franchise’s first female-led instalment. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail and also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in key roles.
The project is one of several titles planned within the spy franchise developed by Yash Raj Films, which includes films led by characters such as ‘Tiger’ and ‘Pathaan’.
