Alia Bhatt with Ranbir Kapoor in Abhinav Kashyap’s next?

Mahesh Bhatt’s youngest daughter, Alia Bhatt, is yet to make her debut but it seems her Bollywood fate could have been decided much earlier thanks to none other than Abhinav Kashyap. Rumour has it that the star-daughter was already being considered for Kashyap’s venture much before landing a role in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ which will see its release later this year.

The Times of India have confirmed that a source close to the debutante has said that Bhatt was very much a contender for the role��in which her co-star would be Ranbir Kapoor but Johar’s project went ahead before Kashyap’s. It is thought that the actress hasn’t yet been signed for the movie but has most definitely been approached.

Kapoor is, undoubtedly, hot property currently what with the stupendous success and appreciation of his performance in last year’s ‘Rockstar’. Kashyap is said to be looking for a fresh jodi and feels Kapoor and Bhatt would fit the bill. The��currently untitled project��is rumoured to have Kapoor playing a street-wise tapori and will be produced in conjunction with Viacom 18.
