Alia Bhatt wants to be a Yash Raj heroine

Many actors come into Bollywood with a bucket list so to speak. Star daughter Alia Bhatt says playing the female lead in a Yash Raj film is on her wish list.

“Everybody aspires to be a Yash Raj heroine. I would love to be Yash Raj heroine… I haven’t reached there but hopefully one day I will,” Bhatt told DNA.

Bhatt, who made her debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ (2012) also expressed a desire to do an action thriller. “I can’t walk steady but hopefully one day I will do an action film,” she said.

The young actress is excited about her upcoming flick ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulania’ with Varun Dhawan. However, actor Sidharth Shukla will be seen adding a little twist in the tale by adding a triangle to the filmi love story.

The film has been directed by Shashank Khaitan and is slated to hit the big screens on 11th July.
