Alia Bhatt upset with tepid audience response to ‘SOTY’

A Karan Johar film is always keenly anticipated regardless of its star cast – especially a film helmed by him after a brief hiatus.

However, a little birdie informs us that Alia Bhatt, the solo lead heroine of his upcoming ‘Student Of The Year’ is none too happy with the tepid audience response to her portions in the first look of the film. More so, since co stars Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra both got cheers for their scenes in the same.

Word is that Johar is now reshooting her portions to make the audience warm up to her, naturally, because he doesn�۪t have a choice as unlike his previous films this one doesn�۪t feature an already established star.

Just like Johar�۪s debut blockbuster, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998), ‘Student Of The Year’ is a campus romance and besides the three debutants also stars Rishi Kapoor, Sana Saeed, Ronit Roy, Kitu Gidwani, Ram Kapoor and Kajol in a cameo. It releases on October 19th.
