Alia Bhatt to star in Hindi remake of Bangla black comedy

Alia Bhatt has reportedly bagged a role in the Hindi remake of Srijit Mukherjee�۪s Bangla black comedy, ‘Hemlock Society’.

Deccan Chronicle reports that the light entertainment film is based on a girl learning the different techniques of a successful suicide from a man who trains suicide aspirants. Mukherjee will remake the Hindi version too.

Mukherjee told the publication, ���Yes, I�۪ve spoken to Mahesh Bhatt saab about a Hindi version of Hemlock Society. I feel Alia would be ideal for the role that Koel Mallick did in the original.�۝
