Alia Bhatt to star opposite Ranveer Singh in ‘Simmba’?

Following the announcement of Ranveer Singh’s next in the Rohit Shetty directed film, fans have been waiting with baited breath to see who will be the female lead cast. It now appears that this will be none other than Alia Bhatt.

Singh and Shetty’s recently revealed collaboration titled ‘Simmba’, which is a remake of Telugu hit ‘Temper’ (2015) was met with excitement as it promises to be an out and out masala film. Whilst the poster showcased Singh as the main protagonist, there was no annoucnment as to the heroine. Bhatt appears to be the lucky lady who has apparently given her approval according to Bollywood Hungama.

Whilst this has not been made official yet, it seems like this casting will be a welcomed Jodi. The duo are already signed up for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ so Shetty’s film will the second outing for the pair. It would also be the first time both Singh and Bhatt will be starring in a full on zany entertainer if the poster is anything to go by.
