Alia Bhatt & SLB summoned by Mumbai court over ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’

Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been summoned by a Mumbai court over the controversy surrounding their upcoming film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.

Bollywood Hungama reports that Babu Ravji Shah, the alleged adopted son of Gangubai has filed a defamation case against the pair.

The report adds that the chief metropolitan magistrate of Mumbai court has summoned Bhatt, Bhansali and two writers of the film in a defamation case connected to the film. They are expected to appear in court on 21st May 2021.
