Alia Bhatt is set to become the first female actor to head Yash Raj Films’ spy universe franchise.
Variety reports that she will play a “super agent”, which will go on the floors in 2024. The spy universe started off with the ‘Tiger’ franchise including ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017) and ‘War’ (2019). ‘Pathaan’ also forms a part of the spy universe and the upcoming ‘Tiger 3’.
Bhatt has had huge success recently with ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘RRR’.
