Alia Bhatt says not being fake runs in her family

Alia Bhatt is one of the current generation’s most promising talents. However, one thing she will never be is “fake”, as she’ recently expressed.

Talking to Deccan Chronicle, the actress said, “We are real people and believe in saying exactly what we feel. I may not be as frank as dad but something I won�۪t do, is be fake. That�۪s something that runs in our family”.

“Like every other family, we barely agree on anything. We have a separate TV in every bedroom because we won�۪t even agree on what to watch. My dad always wants to watch the news, mom likes some light shows, my sister Shaheen is into sci-fi and I like thrillers and reality TV.��The only thing we really agree on is being ourselves,” she added.

The actress is gearing up for the release of ‘Shaandaar’ in September and she is also going to be seen in ‘Shuddhi’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons’ – both of which are Dharma Productions films.
