Alia Bhatt in ‘Sadak’ sequel?

1991’s ‘Sadak’ which starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt is a film which can be classed as a classic for many. Now, although there were reports that the Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt were keen on making a second instalment of the film. Rumours now suggest that Alia Bhatt could be cast in the ‘Sadak 2’.

Earlier, it was being said that Vishesh Bhatt was working on a new script and that a new actor would be needed that would need to show the same intensity that Dutt did in the original. Box Office India reports that plans have since changed a little. It’s thought that Dutt will reprise his role in the second film and Alia would be playing his daughter. Pooja wouldn’t be starring in the film but would have a mention for continuation purposes.

No doubt this news is exciting for many and it remains to be seen whether an official confirmation comes soon from Vishesh Films.
