Alia Bhatt rubbishes rumours of being injured during ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’

When Alia Bhatt posted on social media that she was suffering from a sore back, the media went up in a frenzy. It was reported widely that she sustained an injury on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. However the actress was quick to put rumours to rest stating that this was not the case.

“To all those articles out there saying that I have hurt myself on the sets of my film.. they are NOT true.. This is an old injury that has been acting up for a while and just gave way one day at HOME.. No accident or nothing,” Deccan Chronicle reports the actress stating on social media.

She went on to add, “Please do clarify next time before printing long long articles on what happened to me.. Having said that thanks to few days of complete rest and being horizontal I’m back in action and am resuming shoot from today. Thank you for all the get well soon messages as I have got well very very soon.”

Look’s like all is well with the young actress, where she just needed a day off.
